Christolube MCG111 Grease 28g Syringe

Description

In a high-oxygen line an ordinary grease is fuel, and the heat of a valve cracked open too quickly is enough to set it alight. Nothing else may be substituted at this point in a service. Christolube MCG-111, carried, is a perfluoropolyether grease for oxygen service in a 28 g syringe, used where equipment will see oxygen concentrations above 40 percent. It is oxygen compatible and chemically inert, rated for dynamic application, which covers life support systems open and closed circuit, gas regulators and hyperbaric chambers, compatible with common rubbers and polymers, working across a wide temperature range with a low evaporation rate. A syringe lays down a measured bead on one o-ring or seat and leaves the rest of the supply untouched, which is what suits it to field work and the occasional service. The same grease in a tube suits a workshop. Grease alone makes nothing oxygen-clean. It suits a technician servicing nitrox or oxygen equipment.
