Description

The single thing that ages a dive computer is the screen: a scratched lens is harder to read at depth and takes most of the value off the unit at resale. This lens covers the display and the sides of the bezel, eliminating almost completely the effects of abrasion and shocks on both, while remaining clear enough for perfect visibility. The point is that the protector is the sacrificial part, so a computer stays looking and reading as new after prolonged, intensive underwater use, and a scratched cover is replaced for a small fraction of the instrument's price.
