On a freediving snorkel the keeper does more work than on any other, because the tube is repeatedly pushed behind the head and pulled forward again, and a worn clip lets it wander. This is the replacement keeper for the Cressi Corsica and Mexico, restoring that hold rather than leaving a good snorkel swinging loose off the strap. It is the sort of part worth buying before it is needed: keepers perish from UV and salt without warning, and a split one at the water's edge has no field repair. Fitting the correct model matters, since the keeper has to match both the tube diameter and the strap it clamps to. Two finishes are offered, grey and black.
