Description

On a descent a snorkel should disappear, and most do the opposite: the mouthpiece stands out from the jaw and catches water all the way down. The Corsica is designed so the mouthpiece tucks neatly under the chin once released, which is what makes it hydrodynamic rather than merely streamlined-looking. Above it, soft bendable large-diameter tubing lets the snorkel be positioned properly behind the head and stay there, while the wide bore keeps surface breathing easy during the recovery between dives, when a freediver most needs air without effort. The mouthpiece is anatomical hypoallergenic silicone, which is the difference between comfort and jaw ache over the hours that spearfishing takes. It is offered in four colourways. It suits a deep freediver or spearfisher who wants the snorkel out of the way on the way down.
