Description

What distinguishes this pack from the AL250 version is the backup light. The AL450NM Tail II is brighter than a pocket torch and carries its switch at the tail, where the thumb already rests, so it can be operated through a five millimetre glove without breaking grip. That makes it a backup a technical diver would actually be content to finish a dive on rather than merely survive one. The primary is the AL1800NP-II, a ten degree narrow beam built for reach along a wall, into a wreck or across a channel as a signal. The eight colour easy clip completes the set as a marker, clipped to a valve or an SMB so one diver stays identifiable in a group at night. The AL1800NP-II is black. It suits a technical diver setting up a primary and a serious backup together.
