Newton and Drake Computer Strap

Description

Older dive computers are frequently retired for the wrong reason: the electronics are fine and the strap has perished. This is the replacement watchband for the Cressi Newton and Cressi Drake, which keeps a working instrument diving instead of turning it into a drawer ornament. Having a spare in the save-a-dive kit is the more useful position still, because a strap fails without warning, generally while kitting up, and there is no field repair for one. It is supplied in black. Cressi publish no dimensions or material detail for this part beyond the models it fits, so nothing further is claimed here. That answers a perished strap, a broken pin keeper and a second-hand computer bought without one. It suits an owner keeping a Newton or Drake in service.
