Crystal Vu Mask

Description

On a wall dive the interesting thing arrives from the side, and a framed mask puts a black bar exactly there. This one moulds its side windows into the same pane as the main lens, so no frame joint sits in the corner of the eye, and that patented shape is where the panoramic view comes from. Internal volume is kept low, which is a gas argument as much as a comfort one: a high-volume mask takes more breath to clear at 30 metres, and that breath comes out of the dive. The skirt is double-sealed silicone and swivel buckles let strap tension be altered with the mask on the face rather than off it at the surface. Two colourways are stocked, shadow black on a black skirt and blue on a clear skirt; the clear skirt admits side light, which some divers like and most photographers do not. It suits a diver who wants peripheral vision without a frame in the way.
