Description

Reflection off water raises ultraviolet exposure above land levels, and a mask spends hours on the face or pushed up on the forehead between dives. This matched left and right pair filters that ultraviolet at the surface without shifting colour rendering under water, which is the distinction worth understanding: a tinted lens would buy the same protection and pay for it with dull reef colour at 20 metres. These do not. The pair drops into the same D-Mask interchangeable lens system that takes the optical range, fitted once the frame halves are separated, with no tools and no dealer visit. Because there is no per-eye strength to match, they are supplied as a pair with the same filter on both sides. They carry no dioptre correction at all, so a diver needing a prescription takes the D-Mask optical range instead. It suits a diver spending long days on a boat or a shore.
