D4i Novo Extension Strap

Description

A standard strap is sized for a wrist, and a wrist inside a 7 mm suit is a very different circumference. Divers who have run out of holes on a cold water dive know the problem: the computer either will not fasten or is fastened so tight it marks the neoprene and shifts through the dive. An extension strap adds the length that makes it work. It earns its place in three situations: a winter shore dive in a thick wetsuit, any diving in a drysuit where the sleeve adds bulk again, and a diver with larger forearms for whom the standard strap was always marginal. It is Suunto's own part for the D4i Novo, so it mates to the existing strap correctly rather than approximating it. It suits a D4i Novo owner diving in a thick suit. Fit it once and leave it, since a computer that is comfortable over neoprene is still perfectly wearable over bare skin.
