DA-012 Universal Mount Base

Description

Most adapters in this series solve one specific fitting, which is fine until a rig turns up with something none of them match. The universal mount base is the answer to that: a general-purpose base that gives Big Blue mounting on equipment the dedicated adapters do not cover, so a light is not stranded because a housing uses an unusual arrangement. It is the sensible choice for a home-built tray, an older housing or anything assembled from parts rather than bought as a set. Big Blue design the accessory series to cater to different photographic and video systems rather than assuming a rig is theirs throughout, and this is the piece that carries that furthest. Machined from T6061 aluminium for salt water resistance. That answers an unusual housing, a custom tray and a mixed-brand rig. It suits a photographer whose equipment matches none of the dedicated adapters.
