DA-013M 6 mm Thread Adapter, Male

Description

Mounting hardware fails at the joins, and the joins are where different manufacturers stop agreeing with each other. A six millimetre thread is common enough across trays, brackets and third-party housings that an adapter carrying it solves a whole category of small problems: a light that will not attach to a tray, a bracket with the wrong fitting, a housing whose only mounting point is a bare thread. This is the male version, presenting the thread rather than accepting it; the DA-013F does the opposite and the two are not interchangeable. It costs a fraction of the components it lets a diver keep, which is the argument for owning both rather than working out which is needed on a boat. It suits a photographer joining Big Blue hardware to a six millimetre thread.
