SCUBAPRO Depth Gauge Analogue (Wrist Mounted)

Description

A flooded or dead computer leaves a diver with no depth information at all, and a controlled ascent without it is estimation. This covers that case: a wrist-mounted mechanical depth gauge with a luminous scale and an integrated temperature reading, carrying no battery and no firmware, which is the whole argument for keeping one alongside a computer. It sits in a moulded case on its own wrist strap and reads depth directly from ambient pressure, with temperature shown on the same dial. It is also the instrument used in training scenarios where a computer would do the student's work for them. SCUBAPRO publish no accuracy tolerance and no maximum depth figure for this gauge, so none is quoted here. Nothing needs charging before a trip. It gives no time, no gas and no decompression information, so it is a backup rather than a substitute. Pairing it with a Compact SPG covers cylinder pressure as well.
