DESCENT Mk2S

Description

The Descent Mk2S is the smallest watch-style dive computer Garmin builds, made for divers who find a 52 mm case uncomfortable on a narrower wrist. At 43 mm and 60 grams on the silicone band it wears like an ordinary watch, and it gives up very little to do so: 100 metres of depth rating, a 1.2 inch sapphire display and 30 hours of dive battery. Scuba, gauge, apnea, apnea hunt and closed-circuit rebreather modes run on air, nitrox and trimix to 100 percent oxygen under Bühlmann ZHL-16c with adjustable gradient factors, so the smaller case does not mean a simpler computer. Between dives it works as a full multisport watch with all-day health tracking. It suits divers with smaller wrists, travelling divers who want one watch for everything, and anyone who has had a large computer catch on a wetsuit sleeve. Air integration is not available on the Mk2S; divers who want tank pressure on the wrist should look at the Mk2i or the Mk3i.
