Garmin Descent Mk2S

Description

Most dive computers are built around the largest wrist in the shop, which leaves a lot of divers wearing something that spins under a drysuit cuff. The Mk2S is Garmin's 43 mm case, 60 g on its silicone band, and it is the one that fits a smaller wrist without giving up the dive feature set. Air integration is not part of it, so the first stage keeps its pressure gauge, but everything else is here: single and multi-gas scuba, gauge, apnea, apnea hunt and closed-circuit rebreather modes, trimix to 100 per cent oxygen and adjustable gradient factors. Thirty hours of dive battery covers a full week of diving, and seven days of smartwatch life means it stays on for the commute and the gym afterwards. Sapphire crystal and a stainless steel bezel handle the knocks that come with boat ladders. It suits a diver who wants the full Descent feature set in a watch that does not look like a dive computer.
