Description
An ascent rate warning is worth nothing if it goes unnoticed, which is why the Mk3 raises alerts on three channels at once: on screen, audibly and by vibration. Ascent rate, PO2, CNS and OTU loading, no-decompression limits, decompression obligations and gas switches all trigger one. The screen behind them is a 390 by 390 AMOLED under sapphire crystal, and the case is rated to 200 m, twice the depth rating of most recreational computers and enough for staged decompression work well past sport limits. At 53.5 g without bands the 43 mm case stays comfortable through a long shore dive and unobtrusive in an office the next day. Gas handling covers one bottom gas plus up to eleven decompression or backup mixes, with trimix, rebreather and apnea modes and adjustable gradient factors. Charging is over USB-C, which is one less unusual cable to pack. It suits a diver moving into decompression diving who wants alarms that cannot be missed.
