Description

A digital console spends most of its life not diving, and the battery drains anyway unless something tells it to sleep. This is the replacement cover for the Digi 2, which on that console is not just a lid: fitting it puts the unit into a dormant mode, and Cressi rate that as extending battery life to as much as three years. It also carries the switch between metric and imperial units, which makes it a functional part rather than a cosmetic one, and losing it costs both of those things. Five colourways are offered, useful on a dive boat where several identical consoles come aboard together. Cressi publish no separate dimensions or material for the cover beyond its fitment to the Digi and Digi 2, so nothing further is claimed here. That answers a lost cover, a damaged one and a spare kept in the bag. It suits a Digi 2 owner keeping the console dormant between trips.
