Dive USB Cable

Description

A dive log that lives only inside the computer is a log that disappears when the unit is sold or the battery is changed. This is Suunto's own interface cable for the D4, Zoop Novo and Vyper Novo, and it moves those dives onto a computer where they can be kept, printed for a course application, or shown to an instructor as evidence of experience. It also carries firmware and settings updates, which is the part most owners only discover when a fix is announced. The connector is specific to these models: the EON range and the D5 use a different cable entirely, so this one will not serve as a spare for either. Buying a second to leave at home is a reasonable habit, because the cable is small and it is exactly the piece that goes missing. It suits a Zoop Novo, Vyper Novo or D4 owner who downloads dives.
