Description

A mouthpiece sized for an average adult male jaw is too wide for a lot of divers, and the result is a permanent low-level ache that gets accepted as part of diving rather than fixed. This is the divisible Comfo-Bite in a smaller size, which keeps the patented palate bridge that holds the second stage against the roof of the mouth without clenching, in a bite that suits a narrower jaw. The divisible construction is the other half of the design: it separates for cleaning and for replacement of the bite tabs, which are the part that fails first when a diver clenches out of habit. It is moulded in hypoallergenic silicone. Anyone who finishes dives with jaw ache and has already tried relaxing their bite is usually looking at a sizing problem rather than a technique one.
