COMFO MOUTHPIECE DIVISIBLE

The Aqua Lung divisible Comfo mouthpiece is the smaller version of the Comfo-Bite, made for divers whose mouths a standard mouthpiece does not fit. A mouthpiece that is too large is held by force rather than by shape, and force on a jaw for an hour is what leaves it aching.

The bite tabs are shorter and set closer together than on the standard Comfo, and the divisible construction lets the tabs be separated to suit the wearer. It keeps the palate bridge that defines the Comfo-Bite range, taking the weight of the second stage on the roof of the mouth rather than on the teeth. The material is black silicone, which stays flexible in cold water, resists perishing and carries no taste. It fits the same second stages as the standard Comfo mouthpiece.

The result is a regulator a smaller diver can carry comfortably, rather than one they tolerate for the length of a dive.

Sold on its own, without a clip. The reusable mouthpiece clip is listed separately and makes a change possible without a cable tie. The standard Comfo-Bite is the larger version, and the black silicone octopus mouthpiece is the equivalent part for an alternate air source. A mouthpiece is a wear part rather than a service item.
