Description

Menus are where dive computers go wrong: buttons pressed in the wrong order at depth, in gloves, with the wrong setting left active. The Donatello reduces the whole interface to a single button, which is why a new diver can get at their data without rehearsing it on the surface. Four modes cover Air, Nitrox, Gauge and Free. In dive mode it manages one gas mix, which suits anyone who wants Nitrox without gas switching, with PPO2 configurable within a set range and the Cressi RGBM algorithm handling repeat and multi-day decompression. As a freediving computer it tracks surface intervals and session length automatically, with maximum depth and recovery time alarms. A very strong backlight and a heavy-duty case with a scratch-resistant display also make it a sound backup for a technical diver. That answers a first computer, a freediving session and a second instrument on a deep dive. It suits a diver who wants one button and no menus.
