Description

Public safety divers work in water that would destroy a normal wing, and the material is what separates this one from the standard D30. Armoguard slick skin is more abrasion resistant than Cordura, and because the surface is slick it rinses clean rather than holding what it was dragged through. On a contaminated water dive that matters more than any feature on the spec sheet. On a wreck or a silty quarry it resists the scraping that wears a fabric wing thin. On a busy schedule it dries fast and can be stored damp without picking up bacterial growth or odour, which is the failure that ends most wings early. It is the 30 lb single cylinder wing underneath, with the same inflator, dump valve and drainage. It suits a public safety, commercial or hard working diver.
