S-TEK Donut Wing

Description

Invert in a U-shaped wing and air strands itself in the far corner, and getting it out costs a shoulder lift and a pause. A closed ring does not do that: air runs around it to whichever point is highest, so the dump is always where the air is. That is why cave and wreck divers ask for the shape, and it is what this bladder delivers, in 13 kg, 18 kg and 27 kg lift. The shell is 1000 denier Cordura over a 500 denier inner bladder in dope dyed fabric that holds its colour, closed with a YKK zipper. The rounded profile was revised to cut air trapping and the dump valve sits within reach. Stainless steel eyelets at the base drain water and one at the top helps vent air at the start of a dive. Inflation runs through an elliptical EPDM corrugated hose with a K-Style BPI on a low profile rotating elbow. It suits a technical diver running a backplate and wing.
