Description

Air trapped in the crown of a hood is the reason a diver's head tips back and a hood balloons on descent, and most hoods leave it to escape through the face seal, which is where it does the most damage. The Draget has an integrated system for air and water discharge in the upper part, venting it deliberately instead. It is a smooth neoprene hood on an anatomic cut, with watertight seals around both the face and the neck, and it is specifically recommended for one-piece wetsuits with a front zip, where the neck of the hood tucks under the suit rather than fighting a rear zip. It is offered here in 5 mm, in sizes S, M and L; Cressi also produce a 3 mm thickness. That answers a cold-water dive, a winter shore entry and a long decompression stop. It suits a man diving cold water in a front zip one-piece suit.
