Cressi Orust Hood

Description

Cold water finds the gap between a hood and a suit, and a short-necked hood leaves that gap open no matter how well the face seals. The Orust is cut with an oversized crew neck for exactly that reason, long enough to tuck under the neck of the wetsuit and be sealed by it, which is a far better water barrier than two edges meeting. Cressi note it is particularly suited to one-piece wetsuits with a front zip, where that tuck is straightforward. The cut is anatomical in 5 mm, 100 percent high-stretch neoprene, with smooth skin carrying watertight seals around the face and the neck. Five sizes run from S to 2XL, in black. It suits a diver sealing a hood under a front zip suit.
