Description

Dragging a hood over wet hair is the part of donning most divers dislike, and a smooth Glideskin lining is what lets this one slide instead. It is the thinnest neoprene hood in the range at 3mm stretch throughout, cut deliberately minimalist so there is no excess material to trap water at the neck. Micro holes through the crown vent trapped air on descent without letting meaningful water in. The collar is cut short, so the same hood works under a wetsuit neck or over a drysuit collar. A hood affects hearing and head movement more than any other piece of exposure kit, so the thinnest one that does the job is usually the right one, and this covers warm and temperate water where a 5mm would be too much. Sizing spans X Small through 2X Large, black throughout. The 5mm and 7mm hoods carry more insulation for colder water. It suits a diver in warm or temperate water.
