Aqualung Dry Bag

Description

Wet kit and dry clothes in the same bag is a problem with only one real solution, which is a second bag that water cannot get into. This dry bag uses a roll-top closure: the top folds over on itself several times before clipping, and the seal comes from the number of turns rather than from a zip that will eventually fail with salt and sand. Rolled properly it traps air, so it floats if it goes over the side of a boat instead of sinking with a phone in it. It is used the other way round just as often, holding a wet wetsuit away from everything else on the drive home. That answers a RIB in spray, a shore dive with a long walk in, and a kayak or surf ski. It suits a diver who needs to keep one part of a bag away from the other.
