Dry Gara Bag

Description

Freediving kit is long, heavy and almost always wet, and carrying it in an ordinary rucksack means a soaked car boot every time. The Dry Gara is built from PVC laminated tarpaulin, heat-sealed by high frequency at five tenths of a millimetre thickness, which makes it close to entirely watertight and is the reason wet kit can go straight in. Sixty litres is enough for a full freediving set. What separates it from a plain dry sack is the carrying system: anatomical adjustable shoulder straps on 40 mm webbing, an adjustable chest strap and a waist strap, with heat-sealed padding, so a heavy load is carried on the hips and shoulders properly rather than dragging off one arm. That matters on the walk to a shore entry with fins and a gun. It suits a freediver or spearfisher carrying heavy wet kit any distance.
