Apeks DS4 Nitrox

Description

A deco cylinder needs a first stage more often than it needs a whole new regulator, because most technical divers already have spare second stages sitting in a box. This is the DS4 in nitrox specification, oxygen clean and rated for use with up to 100 percent oxygen, in the DIN fitting. The body is precision machined with four medium pressure ports and one high pressure port. On a stage cylinder that is enough for a second stage and a gauge with room left over. On a cold water dive the environmentally sealed dry chamber keeps water off the main spring, and the over balanced design holds performance at depth. On a rack of similar cylinders the nitrox colour coding prevents a wrong pick. It is supplied as a first stage only. It suits a diver adding a dedicated deco or nitrox regulator to existing second stages.
