Apeks Dust Cap Pack

Description

The dust cap is the cheapest part on a regulator and the one whose loss does the most damage, because without it the first stage inlet sits open to whatever is in the rinse tank. Water that gets past a missing cap reaches the filter and then the internals, and the bill arrives at the next service. These are replacements, supplied as a pack. On a boat day a spare cap covers the one that inevitably goes over the side. On a rinse the cap is what keeps the tank water out of the first stage, which is the single most common way a regulator is damaged between dives. On a club or shared set they are worth keeping in quantity, because caps are lost far faster than they wear out. Fitting one is a two second habit. It suits any Apeks regulator owner replacing lost caps.
