Easy Release Mechanism Kit

Description

This is the mechanism on its own, which is the part to buy when the handle or glove is already owned and only the quick-release action is wanted. It lets a light detach from its mount in a single movement rather than being unscrewed or unstrapped, and the value of that shows up at exactly two moments: climbing a ladder with one hand, and any situation where the light has to come off immediately rather than eventually. Buying it separately also makes it possible to fit the same release to more than one mount, so a light moves between a glove, a handle and a tray without a tool. Big Blue supply it in complete form on the ERM handles and gloves, so this is the upgrade or spare rather than the starting point. It suits a diver adding quick release to a mount they already own.
