Ecco Mask Black / Black Skirt

Description

A student who has never worn a mask has no reference for how tight a strap should sit, and a stiff skirt shows that up immediately as a leak at the top lip. Liquid silicone stays soft against a face that is not used to one, sealing on a spread of face profiles without the strap being hauled in, which is why this sits at the entry point of the range and why a dive centre can hand it to a beginner without wincing. Two windows rather than one hold the air space inside down, so a single short breath empties it, and they open enough view for pool sessions and surface swims. A moulded plastic frame carries the buckles on the skirt itself. Both lenses are bonded in permanently, so there is no corrective option and nowhere to mount a heads-up display. It suits a student, a snorkeller or a dive centre kitting out a rental crate.
