Description

The economics of a canister light argue for buying the connector separately. The canister and the head are sealed, static and expensive; the cord that joins them flexes on every dive, gets handled every time the rig is assembled and is the component that will eventually be crushed against a wreck or pulled at the wrong angle on a boat. Replacing that assembly on its own returns the whole system to service at a fraction of the cost of a new canister. This is the E/O cord connector for the EOD backmount canister, routed for a pot carried on the backplate rather than at the side, so it is not interchangeable with the sidemount version. It comes in black, blue and pink. That answers a damaged cord, a rebuilt rig and a spare carried on an expedition. It suits a diver running an EOD backmount canister light.
