Big Blue EOD Canister Sidemount

Description

A canister without a head is bought for one of two reasons: replacing a flooded or damaged one, or adding a second so a light can be run on two dives without waiting on a charge. This is the EOD canister in sidemount configuration, supplied as the canister alone with three rechargeable batteries, a charger and a protective case, so it is ready to run rather than a bare housing. It carries three EO canister cells, and the burn times it supports on a TL4000P head are 12 hours at full output, then 24, 48 and 120 hours down the levels. The canister measures 68 mm across and 290 millimetres long, in anodised aluminium alloy tested to 150 metres, in black, blue or pink. Note the cable at this configuration is short, at 0.065 metres, since the connector rather than the head is what it serves. It suits a sidemount diver replacing or doubling up an EOD canister.
