EON CORE STRAP KIT

Description

An EON Core will outlast several of its straps, and the strap is the part that decides whether the computer stays on your arm. Elastomer hardens with sunlight and salt, and the damage shows first at the strap loop and around the lug pins, where a split can go from cosmetic to a lost computer between one dive and the next. This is Suunto's own replacement kit rather than a generic band, so it fits the lugs correctly and takes the original pins. Three reasons divers come to it: a strap that has gone stiff and stopped following the wrist, a second-hand computer that arrives with a tired one, and a diver who has switched to the bungee mount and wants the original strap kept intact as a spare. Fitting takes a few minutes and no special tools. It suits any EON Core owner. Change it on the evidence of cracking rather than after it lets go on a boat.
