EOS23 Canister Sidemount Light System

Description

Sidemount changes where the weight sits. The canister rides alongside the diver rather than on a backplate, which keeps the profile low for a restriction and puts the pot somewhere it can be reached, unclipped and handed forward rather than groped for behind the shoulders. Everything else is the EOS23: three canister cells giving twelve hours at the top level and one hundred and twenty at the lowest, so burn time stops being part of the dive plan. The canister is anodised aluminium alloy, 68 by 290 millimetres, 2300 grams and 1299 grams negative, tested to one hundred and fifty metres, with a 0.065 metre cord to the head. It comes in black, blue and pink, with batteries, charger and a protective case included. A backmount version routes the same system to a backplate. It suits a sidemount diver running a canister light.
