EVX200 Tungsten DIN Regulator 300B

Description

A regulator that has been dunked in a rinse tank without its dust cap is already halfway to a service, because water gets where the lubrication should be. The EVX Tungsten closes that off automatically: the Auto Closure Device seals the inlet the moment the regulator comes off the cylinder. On a boat day with six divers sharing one rinse tank, nothing gets in. On a cold water dive the unfreezable end cap stops ice forming where it would hold the valve open, and the over balanced first stage keeps intermediate pressure ahead of ambient as depth increases. On a technical rig seven ports, five medium and two high pressure, sit where hoses will not snag. The second stage runs a laminar flow valve for a smoother, less buzzy breathe, and the spindle reverses so the hose can leave either side. The PVD coating is what separates it from the standard EVX200. It suits a diver who wants the flagship finish and longer intervals between services.

Features

• First stage: over balanced, with unfreezable end cap technology for extreme cold water
• Ports: 7 optimised positions, 5 medium pressure and 2 high pressure, arranged to reduce snag hazards
• Auto Closure Device: seals the inlet when the regulator is removed, keeping water and debris off the internals
• Second stage: laminar flow valve for a smoother breathe and reduced vibration
• Purge: progressive, for controlled airflow when purging or filling an SMB
• Spindle: reversible, so the hose can be moved to either side of the second stage
• Mouthpiece: patented Comfobite
• Hose: double swivel
• Finish: PVD coating for durability and reduced wear
• Connection: DIN 300 bar
