Apeks EVX200 1st Stage DIN 300B

Description

A stage or decompression cylinder is fitted and removed dozens of times a season, and every removal is a chance for water to reach the first stage internals. The EVX200 head answers that with an Auto Closure Device that seals the inlet automatically. This is that first stage supplied on its own. On a deco bottle it feeds a dedicated second stage without the cost of a full regulator. On a twinset conversion a second head completes the pair. On an expedition it is the spare that saves the trip. The unfreezable end cap keeps ice out of the mechanism in cold water, and the over balanced design raises intermediate pressure faster than ambient so performance holds at depth. Seven ports, five medium and two high pressure, sit where hoses will not snag. It suits a technical diver adding cylinders to an EVX rig, and it ships without a second stage or hoses.
