Apeks EVX200 DIN Regulator 300B

Description

Most regulators let water into the first stage the moment the dust cap is forgotten, and that single habit shortens more service intervals than diving does. The EVX200 closes the inlet by itself with an Auto Closure Device. On a boat day the regulator can go straight into a shared rinse tank without ceremony. On a cold water dive the unfreezable end cap keeps ice out of the mechanism and the over balanced first stage keeps intermediate pressure ahead of ambient as the diver descends. On a technical rig the seven port positions, five medium and two high pressure, take everything without crowding the head. The second stage carries a laminar flow valve for a smoother breathe, a progressive purge for filling an SMB and a reversible spindle so the hose can leave either side. It suits a diver who wants the current Apeks platform in its standard finish, and the Tungsten version adds a PVD coating.
