EXPEDITION REEL 330, BLACK
The SCUBAPRO S-TEK Expedition Reel in the 100 m (330 ft) size is a technical reel built around a marine-grade anodised aluminium frame, an injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced nylon drum and a stainless steel axle and screws. Its styling follows the classic G250 second stage.
The design decisions are all about line control. The stainless lock-down screw sits at the opposite end from the line exit, which reduces snag risk and improves the reach to it. An anti-release eyelet secures the bolt snap so the reel cannot part from the harness, and an anti-snag winder handles retrieval. An integrated stealth line cleat and a removable Torben-Loc line anchor give two ways of securing the line end, so it is not lost back through the guide.
