EXPEDITION REEL 660, BLACK
The SCUBAPRO S-TEK Expedition Reel in the 200 m (660 ft) size is the long-line version of the technical reel, built on the same marine-grade anodised aluminium frame with a fibreglass-reinforced nylon drum and stainless steel axle and screws. Two hundred metres is exploration and long penetration line, not SMB deployment.
Line control is what the design is for. The stainless lock-down screw sits opposite the line exit to reduce snags and improve reach, an anti-release eyelet keeps the bolt snap captive, and an anti-snag winder handles retrieval under tension. An integrated stealth line cleat and a removable Torben-Loc line anchor give two ways of securing the line end so it cannot disappear back through the guide.
