Description

Regulators, computers and masks are the expensive, fragile part of a dive kit, and they are exactly what should never go in the hold. The Explorer 45L is sized and shaped to meet airline carry-on regulations, so the delicate items travel in the cabin while fins, suits and boots go below. At 980 g empty it spends very little of a cabin allowance on the bag itself. A full-length zip opens it flat rather than making everything come out through a slot, which matters when a security check wants to see a regulator. Exterior pockets take the items wanted in flight, and a daisy chain down the outside carries clips and accessories. The outer is a tough water-repellent PVC that keeps its appearance after seasons beside a rinse tank. It suits a diver who refuses to check a regulator into the hold.
