Description

Ninety litres is the size most divers actually need, because it holds a complete set of kit without tempting anyone to pack a second person's as well and end up over the weight limit. The Explorer 90L is built around that discipline. Dedicated fin pockets and exterior accessory pockets mean the bag is packed by category rather than by wrestling, which also makes finding a mask on a boat a five second job. The outer is a tough water-repellent PVC that keeps its appearance after seasons of salt, sun and rinse tanks rather than going chalky. A telescopic handle and heavy-duty wheels move it, with fabric handles for lifting it into a bakkie or onto a boat, and the wheels are interchangeable so a broken one is a repair rather than a new bag. It measures 71 x 41 x 30 cm and weighs 3.9 kg empty. It suits a diver who travels with one set of kit.
