Big Blue Extendable Tripod Plate

Description

Filming a shy subject means the diver has to stop being part of the scene. A camera that can be set down on a sand patch and left running gets footage that no amount of hovering and finning produces, and the same arrangement is what makes self-filmed shots possible without a second person. This plate adds that capability to a tray, providing the tripod fitting and the footprint to stand on, and it extends, so the stance can be widened for stability on an uneven bottom or narrowed to pack. It is the component version of the same idea sold complete as the extendable tripod camera tray, for divers who already own a tray and want to add the function rather than replace what they have. That answers timid subjects, self-filming and long static shots. It suits a videographer adding a tripod mount to an existing tray.
