Description

A frameless mask folds flat, and that single property is what makes the F1 the spare divers actually carry rather than leave at home. The glass is bonded straight into the silicone with no surrounding frame, so the whole mask collapses into a BCD or wetsuit pocket. Removing the frame also drops the internal volume, which means it clears on a short breath rather than a long one, and it brings the single lens close to the eyes for a wide uninterrupted field with no centre bridge across the view. The body is a liquid silicone, softer than the standard compound, and the strap buckles are incorporated directly into it so they adjust precisely without a rigid hinge to break. Six colours are available. It suits a diver wanting a primary mask that packs flat, or a genuine backup rather than one left in the car.
