Description

Adult masks sized down do not fit smaller faces, they simply leak in a smaller way, because the sealing edge still sits where an adult cheekbone would be. The F1 Small is the frameless F1 built on a reduced skirt, so the seal lands where it should on a narrower face. Being frameless, the high-grade silicone skirt bonds straight onto a single lens, which strips the mask to its simplest form: it folds flat into a BCD pocket, the internal volume is low enough that clearing takes a short breath, and there is no rigid frame to press on the face. The quick-adjust buckles are moulded directly into the skirt for a flexible fit and less drag. It costs roughly half what comparable masks do. It suits a smaller-faced diver, a junior moving onto adult kit, or anyone wanting a flat-packing spare.
