Fast Strap

Description

Long hair and a silicone mask strap are a bad combination, and every diver with either has pulled a handful out on the boat. The Fast Strap is borrowed from winter sports masks: a wide fabric strap that does not grip and tear hair the way silicone does, which removes the problem rather than working around it with a neoprene cover. It clips on and off in seconds using easy clips, so one strap moves between masks or comes off for washing, and it fits most standard buckles rather than one brand. Adjustment is continuous rather than notched, so it can be set exactly rather than one hole too tight or too loose, and one size fits most adults. That answers a diver with long hair, a mask shared across a household, and anyone whose silicone strap has perished. It suits a diver who is tired of losing hair to a mask strap.
