Big Blue FILRED63 Red Filter for the 63 mm Range

Description

A large video head is exactly the wrong thing to point at a shy animal. Several thousand lumens of white light will empty a ledge before the camera is even up, which is why a red filter matters more on the big heads than on a pocket torch. Most marine life responds poorly to red, so a subject that bolts under white will often sit still under red long enough to be filmed. The same filter preserves a diver's own dark adaptation, which is worth having at night when a gauge has to be read without losing twenty minutes of night vision. Big Blue list this 63 millimetre size as fitting the CB6500, CB10000 and VTL8000. It comes off in seconds when white light is wanted again. It suits a videographer approaching shy animals with a large head.
