Description
Every hole through a housing wall is a place water can get in, which is why optical triggering is the preferred way to fire an external flash underwater: it needs no electrical bulkhead at all. The SeaLife Flash Link Adapter is the fitting that provides that optical port on the DC1400 camera housing. It connects a fibre optic sync cable, so an external flash fires optically from the camera's own flash rather than through a wired connection. The flash and the fibre optic cable are separate items. It suits a DC1400 owner adding an external flash.
