SeaLife Flex-Connect Ball Joint Adapter (Other)

Description

A photographer who already owns ball arms and clamps should not have to replace them to add a Sea Dragon light. This adapter is the bridge: SeaLife's click fitting on one side, the 1 inch, 25 mm ball joint standard the rest of the industry uses on the other. A Sea Dragon light clicks onto it exactly as it clicks onto a Flex-Connect tray, and releases on the same button press, so one light works on either system and there is no need to keep two sets of arms for two brands. It is machined from heavy-duty aluminium rather than moulded, which is what lets it carry a light head at the end of a long arm. The light is not included, and ball clamps are needed at each joint. The Ball Joint Adaptor for Flex Arm does the reverse, putting a ball-mounted light onto SeaLife hardware. It suits a photographer adding a Sea Dragon light to an existing ball rig.
