Flex-Connect Ball Joint Adaptor (for Flex Arm)

Description

This solves the reverse of the usual problem. Where the Sea Dragon adapter brings SeaLife lights onto ball arms, this one puts a 1 inch, 25 mm ball onto a Flex-Connect arm, grip, tray or cold shoe mount, so any brand of light or accessory built for the ball joint standard runs on SeaLife hardware. Between the two, a mixed rig gets assembled without replacing anything: keep the light already owned when the tray changes, or keep the tray when the light changes, with neither decision depending on the other. Construction is heavy-duty aluminium, so it carries a light head at the end of an arm without flexing. Light and arm are not included, and ball clamps are needed at each joint. The Y-S Adapter covers lights using the Y-S mount, the other common fitting on underwater strobes. It suits a photographer running a mixed-brand lighting rig.
