Sea Arm 8 Double Ball Arm

Description

Strobe position does more to control backscatter than most settings on the camera, and arm length decides how far out the strobe can go. The Sea Arm 8 Double Ball Arm is machined from aluminium alloy for stiffness at low weight, with a ball at each end to take SA8 Ball Clamps, and anodised against corrosion. Size S, 120 mm effective, keeps a compact or macro rig tight enough to pass through a swim-through and still light a nudibranch from close in. Size M, at 200 mm, is the all rounder for a mirrorless or DSLR rig moving between fish portraits and reef scenes on one dive. Size L, at 300 mm, reaches well wide of a dome port for a wreck interior or open water where the particles are thick. Two arms joined by a clamp make an elbow that aims the light and folds the rig for the ladder. Clamps are sold separately. It suits a photographer building or extending a Sea Arm 8 strobe rig.
