ZJ13 Ball Joint Clamp

Description

A light arm that creeps downward during a dive leaves the subject in shadow by the time it turns towards the lens. The OrcaTorch ZJ13 Ball Joint Clamp is the link that holds a rig's angles where they were set, joining two ball joints together with an aluminium knob nut that tightens by hand. It is air-grade aluminium in a black Type III hard-anodised finish and weighs 78 g, so it adds little to a rig that already carries lights and a housing. On an action camera tray it joins a ZJ12 handle ball to an arm, putting a video light out to the side to cut backscatter. On a larger rig two clamps and an arm give a macro light an elbow to aim around a subject. And on a travel setup a single clamp lets a light fold flat against the tray for the bag. It is made for aluminium ball joint arms. It suits a diver building or extending a ball joint camera or light rig.
